Why do I need PRO Care for Business?

By proactively maintaining your business computers and environment conditions, hardware, software, and storage drives, PRO Care for Business programs can mitigate system problems and decrease the likelihood of running into problems. You’ll notice improved system reliability, decreased downtime, lower replacement costs, and enhanced data protection.

How is PRO different from other service providers?

We are being Proactive with your system. We have advanced systems that allow us to actively monitor the status of your devices and inform us of any malicious software attempting to infect your system. This allows us to stop the attacks before they begin, leaving you free to continue you computer use without issue. If it happens to be that things have gone too far – we can easily figure out the problem and fix it.

What do you mean by Proactive Maintenance?

Our proactive maintenance is meant to prevent issues that require a lot of time and effort to fix. To keep your system in top shape, we install business-grade antivirus on your computer. The antivirus is an active monitoring system that is operated by a live technician who has the skills and knowledge to prevent security breaches before they happen. We also check your disk health and space daily and keep you informed about what’s happening in the background.
PRO will make sure you’re always safe and up-to-date with all your Windows, Java, Adobe etc updates. Keeping your software updated is a great way to ensure system safety and stability

What is included in the unlimited remote support?

We offer unlimited remote support on weekdays from 6 AM to 6 PM. Whenever you feel like you’re stuck with your computer or something doesn’t look right – just give us a call and we will get everything up and running for you. We offer remote support for applications such as Outlook, QuickBooks, Office365, different browsers, and much more.

What are the remote support hours?

Unlimited remote support 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday

What is not included in PRO Care

On-site Visits are not included. On-site visits are billed at 15% discounted rate ($127.50 / hour, with one hour minimum. No travel fee within 10 miles of our office).

What are the business Applications?

We install, setup, and troubleshoot Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and QuickBooks. We can install and support specialized software pertained to your business.

How much would I have to pay for on-site visits?

PRO Care members get 15% off on-site work. So, for an example, if you want on-site help, one hour of the service for a business would normally cost $150/hour. With the membership, you are saving $22.5 in just one hour!

What additional discounts do I get?

Both remote support and in-shop repairs are discounted at 15% off.

The minimum chargeable time for on-site visits is one hour, for remote support it is 30 minutes.
After the initial time, the price gets raised by increments of 30 minutes for on-site visits and 15 minutes for remote support.

We usually book both on-site and remote sessions one day in advance, but we also offer a rush service. If you are in a rush, we can help you the same day, however there is a rush fee for that.
The base rate for a rush fee is 1.5× the usual fee during regular business hours, and after hours it is 2× the fee.

If I buy a block of hours, will my hours expire?

No, if you purchase a block of hours with us, the hours will not expire and you can use all of them up when need arises.

How far do you travel?

The PROs travel to you for up to 30 miles from our Jefferson Park location. If you are located more than 10 miles away from our office, you will be charged a $40 transport fee.

What are the hours to schedule an appointment?

The PROs are available for on-site and remote support sessions from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM. All hours besides the mentioned are counted as "after hours", including weekends.

What do I need for a remote support session?

All you need to have is a computer with an Internet connection. That means you need to be able to unlock your computer to install our remote software and have an active network connection.

How long does a remote support session take?

The exact time depends on the issues—whether it's a pesky browser add-on, a malicious virus or a corrupt browser profile—but we usually take care of most issues within one hour.
