Chicago electronics recycling



Discarding televisions, PC’s, monitors, cell phones, and other electronics in regular refuse bins is prohibited. We have partnered with AVA Recycling to offer convenient recycling for different types of electronics – you don't need to make an appointment and we will make sure to destroy all personal data during the recycling process.
We are accepting electronics drop-offs at 5019 W Lawrence Avenue on weekdays from 9 am-6 pm and Saturdays from 10 am-5 pm.

  • Electric circuit boards and components

Does it cost anything?

The recycling fee* for hazardous materials is listed below. Recycling unlisted devices is free.

  • Small in-home printer - $10
  • Big office printer - $15
  • CRT monitor - $20
  • Tube TV, 23'' and smaller - $35
  • Tube TV, 24'' to 32'' - $45
  • Tube TV, over 32'' - $60
  • Cabinet/projection TV - $90
  • Flat screen TV, up to 44'' - $30
  • Flat screen TV, 45'' or larger - $40
