TERMS OF SERVICE - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (EXCLUDING DATA RELATED ORDERS): in-shop device repair services have FREE diagnostic/estimate. Our device repair rates are priced at competitive flat rates and more than one service may be required to fix the problem(s). We normally service all our equipment on a first-come, first-served basis and require one (1) to three (3) business days for most hardware and software diagnostics/estimates. PRO Computers, LLC assumes no financial responsibility for any damaged or partially damaged parts that naturally worsen during disassembly of the device. All diagnotics and estimate procedures for custom build desktops have the exception of a $40 no repair fee if service goes through the diagnosis and estimate stage. By signing this service sheet you agree to being required to pay the fee upon pick-up of the device.

IN-SHOP POLICY & WARRANTY: Standard warranty is one hundred and twenty (120) days. Laptop purchased parts and desktop hardware parts also come with a one hundred and twenty (120) day warranty. Software warranty is valid for fourteen (14) days. Opening of the laptop or desktop by any person aside from a PRO technician voids the warranty of the device in question. During the warranty period, we will only take responsibility for problems originally described and that we repaired. Due to the nature of this type of service, if any other problems occur different from the originally described will not be covered. If you have a broken laptop that is critical for your business, please find another way to take care of your business while your broken laptop is at our repair facility. We are not responsible for any loss of business while your device is in service, including warranty services. Warranty will not include shipping costs. All devices serviced by us will be covered under warranty mentioned above and all service fees include shipping cost, which are non-refundable. A diagnostic and/or estimate may be sent to your email address; we will not take the responsibility for problems which may occur if you do not get updated information about your service from us. If a payment has not been made within thirty (30) days from the date we send original invoice, your device will be deemed property of PRO Computers, LLC and all of its parts will belong to PRO Computers, LLC. All balances must be paid in full before your device leaves our facility. By signing any documents pertaining to PRO services, you understand that any items not claimed and paid for within thirty (30) days will become property of PRO Computers, LLC and all data will be removed from the hard drive, if applicable. You understand that PRO Computers, LLC will make at least two (2) attempts to contact you by email at the email address provided regarding your thirty (30) day time-slot. By signing any documents pertaining to PRO services, you understand that failure to provide an email address hinders the ability of PRO to contact you regarding the status of your device, in which case PRO is not responsible for your loss of the device or data if the device is not claimed and paid for in thirty (30) days. PRO is not obligated to return your device or its parts once the thirty (30) day grace period has ended.

BUSINESS IT SERVICES POLICY & WARRANTY: Standard Business IT service warranty is one hundred and twenty (120) days. All hardware devices purchased and deployed by PRO Computers, LLC in the service of the client will be covered under a one (1) year PRO warranty, initiated from the date of installation and setup. If hardware device that is purchased through and deployed by PRO Computers, LLC fails to function to the state of requiring replacement, monetary costs of repair or a replacement unit will be covered by PRO Computers, LLC. Any and all hardware devices that are provided by the client, either new or currently owned, for the purpose of deployment/implementation by PRO Computers, LLC, is not covered under the PRO warranty. Any and all maintenance/replacement services performed by PRO Computers, LLC, for client provided hardware may be subjected to additional charges and fees for servicing client provided hardware. Software that is not actively administrated by PRO Computers, LLC under our approved partnerships with the software developers, is not covered under this warranty. Opening or tampering of the device(s) by any person aside from a PRO technician or otherwise approved by a member of management within PRO Computers, LLC, voids the PRO warranty on the device in question. During the warranty period, we will guarantee our work with problems originally described. PRO Computers, LLC is not responsible for any loss of business while your device is in service, including warranty services. Warranty will not include shipping costs. All devices deployed by us will be covered under warranty above and all service fees include shipping cost are non-refundable.

PRO will not take responsibility for any data lost during the repair process and therefore strongly advise all clients to make complete system backups before shipping or bringing your device for repair.

Privacy Policy

Our commitment to privacy: your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The information we collect: This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the website. On some pages, you can make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

The way we use information: We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that request for information. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that process.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
You can register with our website if you would like to receive our newsletter as well as updates on our new products and services. Information you submit on our website will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the applicable registration form.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our commitment to data security: To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How you can access or correct your information: You can inquire about all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by contacting us. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.
You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error.
To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

TERMS OF SERVICE - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (DATA TRANSFERS AND RECOVERIES): This work order supersedes all prior agreements, written or oral, between PRO Computers, LLC and the Client. The parties agree, notwithstanding any other provision of this work order, that PRO Computers, LLC liability to the Client shall in no event exceed the amount paid by the customer to PRO Computers, LLC under this work order.  This work order shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws in the state of Illinois, and will remain in full force and effect unless otherwise agreed to, in writing, by both parties.

NON-DISCLOSURE: PRO Computers, LLC agrees to keep all data recovered from the equipment confidential. Any data recovered from the equipment will be provided solely to the Client. PRO Computers, LLC however, will disclose any recovered data to governmental authorities or other parties if required to do so by court order or law.  Any such disclosure will be deemed not to violate the provisions of this work order.  

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FROM CLAIMS:The Client acknowledges that the equipment and/or data stored on the equipment is now damaged, and that the recovery efforts of PRO Computers, LLC may result in further damage, destruction of the equipment, and/or the data. The Client expressly releases and forever waives any claims that it may have against PRO Computers, LLC from any damage to or destruction of the equipment and/or the data during the data recovery effort. PRO Computers, LLC shall have no liability for any claim of the Client or any third party (whether against the Client and/or PRO Computers, LLC) based upon a claim that the equipment or any data was damaged, altered, or rendered unusable.
